Administrators & Teachers  [BACK TO TOP]

Did you know that stress is the number 1 reason for employee absences?
(Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

The implementation of school wellness programs continues to increase as administrators recognize their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle for faculty by addressing the needs of both the mind and body.  The benefits include improved attendance and less work-based stress.  Stephanie Cook, medical director for the OSU Faculty and Staff Wellness Program, explains: “Wellness has grown to the point that it has become a focus for employers to try to control the health care costs of employees. It’s really a partnership between the provider of care, the employer and the employee, and the wellness program is the bridge.”

Using movement and motivation, Growing Tree Yoga offers mind-body wellness programs for administrators and school faculty.  Take proactive steps to make your faculty less stressed and more productive.
